Located in the town of Whitchurch, Canada is a modest urban area known as Stouffville. You can drive directly into this quaint little town by routing your GPS to the intersection of Ninth Line and Main Street.
The town’s namesake, Abraham Stouffer, founded Stouffville in 1804. Initially, Abraham named the town Stoufferville. However, when the first post office opened in the area, for mapping and other reasons, the name was shortened to Stouffville. Stouffville’s first post office opened in 1832. Stouffville's last censor recorded a total population of 24,390. The estimated growth of the area is calculated showing an increase in population by the year of 2010 a little more than 32%.

Stouffville educational opportunities are numerous. The York Region District School Board Education Centre-A manages the educational activities of all public schools located in Stouffville, Ontario. Strategically located throughout the district, parents have their choice of public schools from post secondary education carrying them all the way through high school graduation: Private schools are also available. Stouffville has approximately three hundred and two private schools offering activities for parents seeking their children’s education based on their fundamental beliefs, special interests, personal development or any area of importance.

Stouffville Pentecostal Church is located at 6853 Main Street. Activities are conducted throughout the week. Services begin on Sunday at 10 am. On another end of town, Springvale Baptist Church extends open arms welcoming new members to help build faith, family and community. Senior Pastor Bob Flemming invites all new members of the community to join them at the southeast corner of Stouffville and Kennedy Road for their 9:45 am, 11:11 am or 6:00 pm services, which are held every Sunday. Springvale Baptist Church is just one of the many churches welcoming new members to the area to join them.
